February is approaching...February is a month dedicated to love. While lovebirds are busy celebrating their romance and companionship, those who are longing for the arrival of their other half stay single and lonely... ... ... NOT if you give it another go to look for your other half, and it better be something fun and interesting!What is this dinner about?So, what kind of fun and interesting ideas are we offering? Let's go back to Square 1 for a moment. All love relationships start from contact - it could be an eye contact that sparks love, it could be some pleasant exchanges, it could be a common passion shared... but we are no Jack and Rose and we do not quite believe in love at first sight (anymore). So, we turn to the thought of creating an evening with great food (a 5-course dinner) paired with wine, and a cozy vibe, for newly met friends to get to know each other, have some fun and explore the unlimited possibilities, and the outcome is this Wine Tasting x Dating Dinner at The Victuals.Not only for wine lovers!And, no, you do not have to be a wine lover to join this dinner (but of course wine lovers are most welcomed). What if you really know nothing about wine? It is alright - we have prepared a line up of wine from the common wine regions and made of the common wine grapes, and arranged a professional moderator to guide you through the basics about wine appreciation and food pairing, followed by some other games including a paired-up blind tasting game! And let us not forget that a right amount of alcohol generally promotes communication!Our aims and targetsWe know you are concerned about what participants you may be expecting, and how you will be paired up. We are aiming at having 12 males and 12 females (who would enjoy fancy some good food because that is the minimum The Victuals can offer), to be initially grouped into tables of 4. Right now, we are not setting any age limit for participants, and would encourage you to perhaps keep an open mind and engage in simple talks before shutting anybody out. We will request everyone signing up to provide some basic background information for pairing up, and we have to reserve the right to turn down applications if we do not find it feasible to pair the relevant applicants up with anyone else - no discrimination involved, but we would like to ensure that everyone finds it equally fun and enjoyable.「品吓酒‧識朋友」@ The Victuals被譽為愛情之月的二月又正悄然邁近。但正在尋找另一半的朋友也不需感到氣餒，何不抓緊機會，試試參與既好玩又有趣的活動以結識一些新朋友呢？可是坊間形形式式的speed dating活動也不見得特別好玩或有趣吧。先回到基本步，相信大家都會認同，愛情都是由「接觸」萌芽的，不論是一個眼神邂逅、一段愉悅對話、一些共同追逐的熱誠...一見鍾情或許已經不再實際，所以我們便着眼營造一個舒適環境、配以美酒佳餚，為接觸新朋友建立起平台，大家在微醺之下吃着談着嬉笑着，機會可能就在轉角等待着？晚飯之後就算暫未得到維納斯的眷顧，不也飽嚐了一頓美酒美食、對品嚐紅白酒及其食物配搭增添了多點認知嗎？不論你是否紅白酒愛好者、對紅白酒有沒有認知，只要你有興趣與新朋友一起探索新的可能性(以及沒有酒精過敏)，都歡迎參加是次晚宴！我們的「收生」目標是12男、12女，參加者需要提供一些個人資料以作分成4人一組之用。是次晚宴不設年齡限制(除參加者須年滿18歲外)，可是我們須保留退回我們實在難以配對的參加者申請的權利。另外，請有興趣的朋友及參加者細閱以下規則。
